Size Guide

Tervan is cut relaxed, a boxy top that drops straight, never slim. If you are between fits, this guide is the fastest way to land the right one.

How Tervan fits

Three blocks, all deliberately easy: a clean chest, a straight body, a shoulder that sits a touch wide. Meant to skim, not cling. For a sharper look, size down. For a fuller, drapier look, size up.

All figures are the factory pattern spec: the garment itself, laid flat. Chest is measured pit to pit. Allow roughly 1 cm either way on garment-dyed cotton.

The textured pair: The Ottoman Tee & The Slub Crew

The Ottoman Tee cuts regular, so expect it to sit close to the stripe block above. The Slub Crew is an oversized drop-shoulder cut that sits close to the relaxed block. Both run on textured cloths new to the range; their final flat measurements are confirmed at sampling and will be added here before launch.

How to measure

Lay a t-shirt you already like flat and measure it against the table. Match the chest first. It is the number that decides the fit. If your best-fitting tee measures 56 to 58 cm pit to pit, you are an L in the box block.

The weight of every fabric is chosen on purpose, for how it drapes and the job each piece has to do.

240gsm combed cotton, 98% cotton with 2% elastane for the bit of recovery that keeps a tee holding its shape wash after wash. Garment-dyed in tones that settle rather than shout.

Boxy crew, straight hem, pre-shrunk, with a collar that doesn't sag. The tee the rest of the wardrobe answers to. Cold machine wash. Line dry.

Cut for a clean, considered fit. Take your usual size, or size down for a tailored look. Garment-washed and pre-shrunk, so expect under 2% shrinkage on a first cold wash.

The Blueprint: fabric & care

A tee with enough weight to hang instead of cling. 240gsm combed cotton with 2% elastane for recovery, so the collar sits flat and the body keeps its shape wash after wash. The neck is ribbed and double-needle set to resist the stretch and curl that ages an ordinary tee in a season.

Why the weight matters. A lighter knit clings and shows everything under it. We build with enough mass to fall in a clean line and hold it. Combed, long-staple cotton keeps the surface smooth and cuts down on pilling. A little elastane, where we use it, gives the knit some memory, so it returns to shape instead of bagging at the collar, cuff and hem.

Considered construction. Cotton-first cloth, with no performance coatings and no anti-odour tech. Blends earn their place: a touch of elastane where recovery matters, nothing else. Pre-shrunk, double-needle set, seams sewn to lie flat.

Caring for it. Wash cold, inside out, with like colours. Skip the tumble dryer. Dry flat or on a low line to protect the shape and the weight. Warm iron if you like a crisp finish.
